Both can be effective to use at different times. Desktop Terminal will allow you to run expect advisors and use custom indicators as an example while WebTrader will not. WebTrader however can be more optimal when you are on the run since it can be accessed from any web browser at any time.

Can I access WebTrader on the weekends?

Yes. You can login to WebTrader on weekends and crypto instruments that are active can be traded.

Are there any restrictions to the types of orders I can place on WebTrader?

No there are not. All order types can be placed on WebTrader including market, limit, stop and entry orders.
